Kuehne + Nagel has tackled the issue of container visibility with a new online platform, allowing customers to track all their containers in real-time.
The new container dashboard, as part of the myKN platform, harnesses data through a geo system cloud solution. It also reduces manual effort in identifying milestones and deviations from planned schedules, increases accuracy and productivity by eliminating supply chain white spots and enables early preventative measures for cargo.
Congestion and capacity constraints have made container visibility a necessity for supply chain management said Otto Schacht, Member of the Management Board of Kuehne + Nagel International AG.
